About the event
The professional creative association "EVENTUS," Emi Hariyama, and Awaji World Ballet invite you to explore Japanese culture through the ballet production "Cranes," created by Emi Hariyama, and a spectacular Gala concert.
Act I: The Japanese ballet performance, presented by Emi Hariyama and Awaji World Ballet.
Emi Hariyama offers a new, original Japanese ballet version of the story "The Return of the Cranes," an ancient Japanese folk tale known to every Japanese person. Ballet and cranes share many similarities. The audience will be captivated by the depth characteristic of Japanese culture, along with a stunning visual and spatial presentation through video.
The visual and spatial direction, as well as the music, are breathtakingly beautiful and delicate, showcasing the world of Nikon in all its splendor. Just like "the crane who returns kindness," we remember our journey and strive to fulfill our dreams and hopes, living in a world of gratitude and human relationships, free from sorrow and suffering.
Act II: Gala concert. The concert features soloists from the Latvian National Ballet, along with students from the Riga Ballet School and the Tallinn Music and Ballet School.
